NEW DELHI: An Air India flight bound for Tel Aviv was diverted to Abu Dhabi following a missile attack near Ben Gurion Airport in Israel. Sources said the attack took place an hour before Air India flight AI139 was due to land in Tel Aviv.
According to information on the fleet tracking website 'Flightradar24.com', the plane was in Jordanian airspace when it was decided to divert to Abu Dhabi. Air India's flight from Tel Aviv to Delhi was cancelled following the attack. Air traffic to Tel Aviv Airport was temporarily suspended after a missile launched from Yemen landed near Tel Aviv Airport.
