Election Commission provides platform for national, state parties to share suggestions and concerns; meets BSP Chief Mayawati, party leaders in Delhi

NEW DELHI: Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and Election Commissioners Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr. Vivek Joshi held a meeting at Nirvachan Sadan with a delegation led by BSP National President Mayawati.

The meeting was part of a series of constructive discussions that offer national and state party leaders an opportunity to directly share their suggestions and concerns with the Election Commission. It reflects the Commission's broader vision to further strengthen the electoral process in accordance with existing laws and regulations.

Earlier, the Commission had organised a total of 4,719 all-party meetings, including meetings held by 40 Chief Electoral Officers (CEOs), 800 District Election Officers (DEOs), and 3,879 Electoral Registration Officers (EROs). More than 28,000 representatives from various political parties have participated in these meetings.
