NEW DELHI: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated that the Indian Army has made history through Operation Sindoor. He said the nation achieved its objective with precision and vigilance. The army successfully completed its mission, and what the world witnessed was the Army's firm resolve. Rajnath Singh emphasised that India retaliated for the killing of innocent people.
He further said that not a single civilian was killed during Operation Sindoor — only terrorist bases were targeted. The operation aimed solely at destroying terrorist camps and infrastructure. "Those who killed our loved ones were the ones we eliminated. India exercised its rightful option to retaliate," he added.
Rajnath Singh mentioned that Operation Sindoor was carried out under the directive of the Prime Minister, and the strike was executed with full confidence in the armed forces. The action was based on well-planned discussions, and the attacks were limited to the terrorists' camps and infrastructure with the intent to break their morale, he concluded.
