NEW DELHI: Following the heavy strike on Pakistan through Operation Sindoor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for an all-party meeting. The meeting is scheduled for tomorrow at 11 AM and will be held in Room G-074 of the Parliament Library building, as announced by Union Minister Kiren Rijiju via an X (formerly Twitter) post.

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a high-level virtual meeting with the Chief Ministers of states that share international borders. The meeting included participation from the Chief Ministers, DGPs, and Cabinet Secretaries of Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sikkim, and West Bengal. The discussion took place in the context of continued provocations from Pakistan along the border.

In a related development, Prime Minister Modi also met with the President at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The retaliation under the name Operation Sindoor was launched in response to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. The strike began shortly after 1 AM and lasted for 23 minutes.
