ISLAMABAD: Three blasts were heard in Lahore a day after India carried out airstrikes across Pakistan. The media in Pakistan reported that sirens were heard continuously. The explosion was heard in the Walton Road area of Punjab province Thursday morning. The cause of the explosion is not clear.
The images of smoke emanating have emerged. Reuters and local Pakistani media reported this. People can be seen running out of their homes and gathering on the roads following the explosions. The explosions were heard from Gopal Nagar and Naseerabad areas near Walton Airport.
Meantime, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said they would retaliate against India's Operation Sindoor. As a result, more Pakistani troops have been brought to Lahore. Reports said Pakistani forces have increased their presence in all the centers near Lahore. Lahore is a major city near the Indian border. It is a two-and-a-half-hour journey from the Wagah border to Lahore. It is also in this context that more Pakistani soldiers have been deployed in Lahore.
