Son hacks father to death over family dispute in Wayanad

WAYANAD: A man hacked his father to death in Wayanad. 37-year-old youth identified as Robin hacked his father Baby (63) of Edavaka Kadannalat Kunnil Malakudy. Baby was attacked last night at 11 pm. The locals who rushed to the spot after hearing an uproar found Baby with hack injuries.

Seriously injured Baby was taken to Mananthavady Medical College Hospital, but his life could not be saved. He died early Thursday morning at 1 am. Amidst a verbal dispute between the two, Robin hacked him on his chest deeply using a weapon. The accused has been taken into custody. His body has been shifted to the mortuary of the medical college hospital. His body will be handed over to his family after postmortem. A family dispute led to his murder.
