Abdullah’s visit to Jammu comes after the city was targeted by Pakistani drones and missiles and sirens roared Thursday night. However, India said it ‘neutralized’ Pakistan’s drone and missile attacks which were meant to target several military bases, including in Jammu and Pathankot.
After the Pahalgam attack, Omar and the Jammu and Kashmir government are moving with a cooperative attitude with the central government, avoiding provocative statements. He had said that the safety of tourists is the responsibility of the state government. He also blamed himself for not being able to safely sent back people who came as guests of Kashmir.
Meantime, India's attack on Pakistani soil is continuing. A blast was carried out 20 kilometers from the house of Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. After this, Shahbaz Sharif was removed from his official residence. Air strikes are continuing in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi.
