ANKARA: Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan spoke to Shehbaz Sharif on the phone expressing solidarity for the India-Pakistan tensions. The statement was released by the Turkish president's office.

Pakistan's call for an investigation into the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam that killed 26 people is appropriate. India blamed Pakistan for the incident and the latter has denied it. Condemns India's missile attack. The statement also said that such military actions could lead to an all-out war.
'We are concerned that the tension between Pakistan and India could escalate into war. India's missile attack has led to the martyrdom of many civilians. I pray for Allah's mercy on our brothers who lost their lives in the attack. I am with our brothers in Pakistan. I express my condolences again. Instead of adding fuel to the fire, we should open the way for dialogue. We will make every effort for that,' Erdogan had earlier posted on social media.
