THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that a cabinet meeting will be held to decide how Kerala should be ready in the wake of an India-Pakistan conflict. The chief minister also said the country is facing an extremely serious situation. The chief minister was inaugurating the Kannur district-level meeting organized as part of the fourth anniversary programme of the second Pinarayi government.

It is learned that the government may take a decision in the cabinet meeting, including continuing the annual celebrations. However, no confirmation has been received in this regard.

'India is giving a befitting reply to Pakistan's terrorist activities. The people should unite and stand with the country now. The country is defending Pakistan's aggression attempts in a good manner. Efforts are being made to undermine our sovereignty. It is very important to stand with all the steps taken by the country. India wants to continue good relations with neighboring countries. However, Pakistan is moving things in the opposite direction,' said the chief minister.
