Unnikannan Mangalam Dam is a Malayali who has gained attention on social media as a die-hard Vijay fan. He claims that he has been trying for the last seven years to meet Vijay in person. Meanwhile, on January 1, Unnikannan had traveled on foot to the location of Vijay's new film Jana Nayagan. Unnikannan had also shared a video of the journey. Unnikannan also announced that he had met Vijay in February. However, he could not post pictures or videos of the meeting. In response to this, Unnikannan had said in a video that he would not lie and that actress Mamita Baiju was a witness to him meeting Vijay Annan. Now, Mamita Baiju herself has come forward to validate Unnikannan's words. Mamita Baiju commented under the video posted by Unnikannan, saying 'Yes your honor, I am the witness'.

Unnikannan thanked Mamita for telling the world that he is not a liar. 'Even those who know me closely said that it was a lie that I met Vijay Annan.
