THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Renowned vlogger Mukesh Nair has been granted anticipatory bail in the case of sexually abusing a minor girl. It was the Thiruvananthapuram POCSO Court that granted anticipatory bail to Mukesh Nair and the second accused in the case.

Mukesh Nair is accused of forcing a minor girl to pose semi-nude, taking photographs and circulating those photographs on social media. The POCSO case was registered by the Kovalam Police on the complaint lodged by the girl's parents. The incident that led to the case occurred two months ago at a resort in Kovalam during the filming of a reel video in which Mukesh acted. The minor girl was also brought to the location for the shoot.

It is alleged that he took semi-nude photos of the girl without her consent. During the filming, he also reportedly touched the girl's body without permission. In their complaint, the girl's parents alleged that the incident caused severe mental distress to their daughter.

However, Mukesh Nair had immediately come forward, denying the allegations. He stated that he would face the matter through legal means. Advocate Afsal Khan appeared in court on behalf of Mukesh.
