One killed, two sustain serious injuries in Ettumanoor accident 

KOTTAYAM: One person was killed after a car and a pickup van collided near the Mahadeva Temple in Ettumanoor. Two has been admitted at Kottayam Medical College Hospital with serious injuries. The accident happened late last night on the M C Road.

The car which was coming from Ettumanoor and proceeding towards Ernakulam collided with the pickup van coming on the opposite direction. The front portion of the car was fully damaged. Those in the car were extracted by breaking open the vehicle. The fire force and the Ettumanoor police have reached the spot. Transportation came to a standstill on the Ettumanoor-Ernakulam route for half an hour following the accident.
