NEW DELHI: The Indian Armed Forces have released visual proof of their retaliatory strikes against Pakistan, including images and videos of destroyed Pakistani airbases. The Armed Forces presented these proofs during a joint press conference attended by Major General S.S. Sharda, Air Marshal A.K. Bharti, Lieutenant General Rajeev Ghai, and Vice Admiral A.N. Pramod.
Key statements from the press conference:
The Indian operation targeted terrorists alone. However, Pakistani military forces were found to be aiding them. India’s robust air defence systems successfully intercepted and countered all of Pakistan’s attacks.
The forces deployed a multi-layered air defence strategy, successfully neutralizing long-range rockets and drones. The indigenously developed ‘Akash’ air defence system was effectively used to intercept enemy threats. The forces also destroyed Chinese-made PL-15 missiles, Turkish drones, and long-range rockets, effectively countering all Chinese-origin weapons.
A combination of soft and hard kill technologies was employed during the operations. Indian forces also conducted successful strikes on Karachi’s airbase, as well as on the Nur Khan and Rahim Yar Khan airbases in Pakistan. All Indian airfields remain secure. The military has effectively created an aerial defence shield over Indian territory. Retaliatory strikes were executed without violating Pakistani airspace. Operation Sindoor was a success. Thanks to the government for supporting the forces. India is fully equipped and ready to respond to any future provocations or threats.
