LUCKNOW: Parents named 17 newborn daughters in Uttar Pradesh 'Sindoor', inspired by the huge success of the Indian Army’s valiant operation. Babies born between May 9 and 10 in Kushinagar district were named Sindoor by parents.
The Principal of the Government Medical College confirmed the news and called Operation Sindoor a symbol of sacrifice and national unity.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' is the oath of every soldier in the country. He was speaking during a surprise visit to the Adampur airbase in Punjab. The Adampur airbase had played a crucial role in intercepting missiles and drones fired by Pakistan last week. Modi also expressed the country's gratitude to the soldiers.
'When our missiles hit targets, 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' can be heard. The army fought an epic battle against Pakistan that left billions of Indians with their heads held high. 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' is the oath of every soldier in the country. This slogan will be heard everywhere. 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' is a slogan that makes the enemy tremble. Even after decades, this service will be remembered in history. Operation Sindoor is a trinity of justice, law and military prowess. The terrorists who erased the sindoor of our sisters were hunted down on their soil. Fighting against injustice is the tradition of our country. Nine terror camps were destroyed and about a hundred terrorists were killed. The airstrike was foiled. If the country is attacked again, there will be great destruction. Terrorists hiding in Pakistani soil were killed. It is clear what India's Lakshman Rekha is against terrorism,' Modi said.
