THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As the CBSE Class 10 and 12 exam results were declared, the Thiruvananthapuram region stood out with stellar performance. In the Class 10 exams, Thiruvananthapuram and Vijayawada regions shared the top position with an impressive pass percentage of 99.79%.
In the Class 12 results, Vijayawada secured the top spot with a 99.60% pass rate, while Thiruvananthapuram followed closely in second place with 99.32%. The Prayagraj region in Uttar Pradesh recorded the lowest pass rate at 79.53%.
Out of the 17 CBSE regions, South India continued to shine the brightest. A total of 42 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 and 12 exams. Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the students who passed.
