NEW DELHI: Pakistan has written to India requesting the restoration of the Indus River Water Treaty, which was cancelled after the Pahalgam terror attack. Turkey is facing the wrath of Indian tourists for providing weapons to Pakistan. While India is celebrating the proud victory of Operation Sindoor, this is the situation of its opponents.

The people of Pakistan have turned against the government after the water shortage. Seeing the protests intensifying, Pakistan has requested that the Indus water not be blocked anymore. Syed Ali Murtaza, Secretary of Pakistan's Ministry of Water Resources, wrote a letter to the Union Water Resources Secretary. He has not received a reply. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had reiterated the other day that 'water and blood cannot flow together'.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has released BSF jawan Poornam Kumar Shah, who was in custody for 22 days. India has also released the detained Pakistani Ranger. Shah was handed over by Pakistan Rangers at the Attari border at 10.30 am. He is a native of West Bengal. He was subjected to a medical examination. He will be released with his family after completing quarantine. Shah, 40, has been with the BSF for 17 years. On April 23, he accidentally crossed the border while protecting farmers in Ferozepur, Punjab. Despite several flag meetings, Pakistan did not release Shah and continued to play hide and seek. Shah was shifted from the border to another secret centre. The Pakistani Ranger was caught by the BSF while giving a retaliatory strike to Pakistan in Operation Sindoor.

With Modi, everything is possible. They brought back my husband and saved my sindoor.

Turkey is being cancelled in droves

Indians are cancelling their holiday trips to Turkey and Azerbaijan, which have sided with Pakistan against India. With this, major online travel platforms including MakeMyTrip have suspended flight and hotel bookings. The Turkish Tourism Department has requested Indian tourists not to cancel their trips. Protests against Turkey are also widespread on social media.

Those who provide arms to Pakistan should be avoided. Countries like Russia, Armenia, Greece should be chosen.
