'Operation Sindoor was just show off, four planes flew here and there,' says Congress MLA

BENGALURU: Karnataka Congress MLA Kothur G Manjunath criticized India's Operation Sindoor against Pakistan. The MLA asked what happened through Operation Sindoor, everything was just a show off.

'Nothing happened. Four planes went here and there to show off. Will it replace the 26 people killed in Pahalgam? Is this how we find a solution to the widows of those killed? Is this the way to show respect to them. Where are the terrorists who attacked Pahalgam? Can the government confirm that 100 terrorists were killed in the operation?

Who are the terrorists who infiltrated and attacked? Why was there no security on the border? How did the terrorists escape? We should uproot the roots of terrorism and eliminate them. What happened in Pahalgam was a failure of intelligence. Which terrorist camps in Pakistan did India destroy? Many channels are saying different things. Who all died? Where is the official confirmation on this. I am against all kinds of war. This is not the way to find a solution,' Manjunath said.

Meantime, the army chiefs had announced in a joint press meet that nine terror camps were destroyed and 100 terrorists were killed in Operation Sindoor. Terrorists Yusuf Azhar, Abdul Malik Rauf and Mudassir Ahmed were among those killed. The army had also released footage of the attack.
