NEW DELHI: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has said that Pakistan is trying to rebuild the terror networks that India dismantled in Operation Sindoor. Rajnath Singh also demanded a review of the International Monetary Fund loan given to Pakistan, as it will be used for terrorist activities. He said this while addressing the soldiers at the Bhuj Air Force Base in Gujarat.
The Pakistani government has announced financial assistance to rebuild the infrastructure of terrorist organisations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed, located in Muridke and Bahawalpur. Rajnath Singh said that Pakistan will use most of the loan provided by the International Monetary Fund to support terrorist organisations. He added that any financial assistance given to Pakistan will encourage terrorism.
The IMF has allocated $1 billion to Pakistan despite India's objections. The Defence Minister said that any financial assistance given to Pakistan is tantamount to supporting terrorism. Rajnath Singh also pointed out that the Pakistan government plans to spend the Rs 14 crore collected as taxes from the poor people of Pakistan on terrorist Masood Azhar.
Pakistani Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain had visited Muridke, one of the nine terror camps that India destroyed in Operation Sindoor. Following the visit, Rana Tanveer Hussain had said that the government would rebuild them at its own expense. Rajnath Singh's response was to this.
Muridke is the centre of Lashkar-e-Taiba. Bahawalpur is also the headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed. The Pahalgam attack was carried out by Lashkar terrorists. Rajnath Singh also said that there is no guarantee that Pakistan's nuclear weapons will not fall into the hands of terrorists in the future. Pakistan will have to face major setbacks if they do not act well. Rajnath Singh's words are a strong indication that if India is attacked again, Pakistan will not even be on the map of Asia.
