Former MLA A Pradeep Kumar appointed as Chief Minister's private secretary

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kozhikode North Former MLA Pradeep Kumar was appointed the Chief Minister's private secretary replacing K.K. Ragesh. Pradeep Kumar is currently a member of the CPM state committee.

K.K. Ragesh had to relinquish the post after being surprisingly appointed as Kannur CPM district secretary. The government then decided to appoint Pradeep Kumar to fill Ragesh's vacancy.

A three-time MLA, Pradeep Kumar has served as SFI State President, SFI State Secretary, DYFI State Secretary, Kozhikode District Council Member, Calicut University Union Chairman, and Kozhikode Urban Bank President.

Pradeep is a native of Anarambath, Chelakkad, Nadapuram. He is the son of the late Anarambath Gopalakrishna Kurup and Kamalakshiamma. He lives in Chungam, Westhill in Kozhikode.
