The trailer of ‘Thug Life’, film director virtuoso Mani Ratnam’s much-anticipated movie, dropped on Saturday. Fans were all praising the potpourri of stunning visuals, legendary actors in one frame and the gripping music track from Mozart Rahman.

However, a controversy too found a place after the release of the trailer. 70-year-old Kamal Haasan’s intimate scene with an actress, rumoured to be Abhirami has ignited huge debate on social media. Abhirami is now 42 years old, almost 30 years younger than the veteran actor.

Many people couldn't fathom the justification of artistic needs in movies that make it pertinent to include such scenes. Trolls and memes are already trending on social media while netizens have even criticised movie makers for intentionally including such scenes in the guise of entertainment.
