Actress Preity Zinta reveals truth behind viral Vaibhav Suryavanshi photo

MUMBAI: Actress Preity Zinta slammed social media pages that have morphed her photos with 14-year-old Rajasthan Royals prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi.

"How could people do such a thing? I was surprised to see this." Pictures and videos of Preity Zinta, also the owner of Punjab Kings, talking to Vaibhav after the last match went viral on social media.

After the match, Preity Zinta had a candid chat with Vaibhav and both shook hands. However, a morphed photo appeared showing the actress hugging the 14-year-old boy which then started going viral.

'This is a morphed picture and fake news. Surprisingly, news channels are using morphed pictures and presenting them as news,' wrote the actress on X.

Rajasthan Royals shared a video of the meeting between Preity Zinta and Vaibhav on their social media page. The video starts with Preity talking to Rajasthan Royals opener Yashasvi Jaiswal. After talking to Jaiswal for a while, Preity then went to talk with Vaibhav. Both of them exchanged social pleasantries and had a brief talk. However, what made to news was a morphed image of the duo.
