QUETTA: Five people were killed in a suicide attack on a school bus in Balochistan. Three of them were schoolchildren. The attack on the school bus in Khuzdar city took place on Wednesday morning. A vehicle carrying explosives was rammed into the school bus. The attack targeted a bus carrying students from Pakistan's Army Public School.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the incident that killed five people. Pakistani authorities say that at least 35 people were injured in the suicide attack and accused India of being behind the suicide attack in Balochistan province. However, India has rejected Pakistan's allegations.
The Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement in this regard, condemning the loss of lives. India added that Pakistan's claim is baseless and politically motivated. The statement criticised Pakistan's habit of blaming India for all its internal problems to divert attention from its known origin of terrorism and to cover up its own shortcomings.
Pakistan has long accused India of supporting terrorist activities in Balochistan. However, India has hit back, saying that Pakistan's claim that India is providing aid to the Baloch Liberation Army is part of an attempt to cover up its own mistakes.
