Sneaky snake in floor mat bites; tragic death for young psychologist in Irinjalakuda

IRINJALAKUDA: Leaving a locality in total shock, a woman died hours after being bitten by a snake in front of her house in Madayikonam. Henna (28), wife of Sharon, a native of Madiyikonam died in the tragic incident.

She was feeding food to her toddler when the snake bit her. The reptile was creeping inside the floor mat of the house when Henna walked to the area without noticing the danger.

Henna is a psychologist at Kuranchery In-Mind Mental Hospital. She was bitten by a snake at her husband's house in Madayikonam at 8 pm the other day. She was immediately taken to the Irinjalakuda Cooperative Hospital. During treatment, she suffered a heart attack at 12.30 am on Wednesday. She leaves behind her husband Sharon and son Hayden (3).
