NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) postponed the NEET-PG 2025 examination minding the Supreme Court order. The exam scheduled for June 15th of this year has thus been postponed. The apex court had asked the board to conduct exams for admission into MBBS and dental programmes in a single shift rather than the existing two.

The court also asked the board to ensure 'complete transparency' and secure exam centres for the fair conduct of the examinations.

In a move to conform with the Court ruling, NBEMS on Monday made public the decision to postpone the NEET examinations. Plans are ongoing to increase the test centres and bring needed infrastructure to conduct the exams in a single shift. The revised dates will be announced later.
