Payback time! 62-year-old man settles score with friend over class 4 squabble, arrested

KASARAGOD: A man, 62 years aged, took revenge for the beatings he suffered in class four that happened almost five decades back. Maloth Balakrishnan took revenge on VJ Babu, a resident of Maloth for the petty fight they had almost 50 years back. Based on Babu's complaint, the police have registered a case against Balakrishnan and his friend Mathew Valiyaplakkal.

The incident took place in Maloth Town on the afternoon of May 2nd. According to the complaint, Balakrishnan held Babu by his shirt collar while Mathew hit him on his face with a stone. Babu and Balakrishnan were schoolmates and used to fight occasionally.

Balakrishnan admitted to police that it was the torture he suffered during school days that made him go for revenge.
