Popular model Anjali found hanging in house, probe underway

GANDHINAGAR: A 23-year-old model was found dead at her house in suspicious circumstances on Monday. The incident took place in Surat, Gujarat. The victim has been identified as Anjali Varmora, a native of Athwa, Gujarat. The model was found hanging inside her house. Police suspect it to be a suicide though no notes were found in the house.

Anjali had recently shared emotional posts on social media, doubted to be an indication of her recently broken relationship. The day before her death, Anjali had shared a reel on Instagram with the caption, "I realized I was nothing to you." Anjali has more than 37,000 followers on Instagram. Police said that the woman was suffering from huge mental stress due to certain incidents in her personal life.

The police are examining the young model's phone records. Statements have been taken from relatives as well. The body has been shifted to the hospital for postmortem.
