THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With the strengthening of the westerly winds, rain is expected to continue across the state this week. In light of the rain, a yellow alert has been issued today in the districts of Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, and Thrissur.

Along with rain, strong winds are also likely. Due to the possibility of sea incursion, coastal residents are advised to remain vigilant.
