Jagathy Chettan’s timely action saved the life of Lalettan then 

Nandu is an actor who entered the Malayalam film industry through small roles and later become an inevitable actor in the film world today. Although he has acted in small roles in films like Kamaladalam, the turning point in Nandu's career was his role in the film Spirit directed by Ranjith. Nandu has acted in many of director Priyadarshan’s films.

Nandu also played a vital role in 'Empuraan' directed by Prithviraj. Now, what Nandu said recently about Mohanlal and Jagathy Sreekumar is being discussed. He said about a part in Mohanlal's mega hit film Kilukkam. He revealed this in an interview given to Vanitha.

‘I’ve seen God. The song 'Ootypattanam' from the film Kilukkam was being shot then. Lalettan and Jagathy Chettan were on top of the train. I was with Priyan Chettan and the camera crew. The train was moving at a fairly good speed. We heard a scream when the train took a curve. Jagathy Chettan was shouting saying ‘'Lale lower your head?' The next moment we see Lalettan and Jagathy Chettan lying upside down on the train. A wire was tied across the tracks. No one noticed this. Lalettan is still with us only because of Jagathy Chettan. The timely action of Jagathy Chettan saved the life of Lalettan,' clarified Nandu.
