This trend is contrary to the recent viral Masinagudi-Ooty trip. The Ooty trend demanded travel to the hill station in search of the little-known idyllic route. It required people to splash a good amount of money. Whereas, a mobile phone with a flashlight and a spoonful of turmeric powder will get the job done for the magic glow trend. Worry less about viewership if there is a toddler at your house.

Turn on the flashlight on your mobile phone and keep it upside down on a flat surface. Place a glass full of water on the flashlight portion to help light pierce through the liquid. All other lights in the room should be turned off to obtain the desired result. Add a spoonful of turmeric into the glass, and then wait for the magic. It is said that the trend found its way to Instagram from TikTok.
