NEW DELHI: A few days after the shocking murder of tennis player Radhika Yadav, her close friend has now come up with a crucial revelation. Tennis star Himanshika Singh Rajput talked more about the atmosphere and restrictions she witnessed in Radhika's home.

The response was through her Instagram video. Himanshika blamed Radhika's father, Deepak Yadav, for controlling every movement of his daughter.

Radhika was murdered by her father, Deepak, at her house in Sector 57, Gurugram, Haryana, on Thursday. Deepak was subsequently arrested by the police.

Himanshika:

“She was my best friend. Her father was making her life miserable for many years. Her parents used to scold and humiliate her for wearing low-cut clothes. She had struggled a lot to see success in tennis. Her family even opposed her talking to boys.

We used to face each other in tournaments and competitions from 2012-2013. We have travelled together. We have attended competitions, shared jokes and thoughts. She rarely spoke with anyone other than her family members. She loved taking photos but had to stop everything for the fear of retribution from her family.”
