CPM worker found dead in well; had been undergoing treatment after being attacked by BJP workers

KANNUR: A CPM worker, who had been under treatment for years after being injured in a political attack, was found dead in a well. The deceased has been identified as Jyothiraj (43), a native of Vilakkottur, Panoor. He was found dead in the well at his house early this morning.

In 2009, Jyothiraj was brutally attacked by BJP workers, leaving him with serious injuries on both legs. One of the wounds on his leg had not healed, and he had been undergoing treatment at home since then. Police have reached the spot and sent the body for a post-mortem.
