Local body elections to be held in state in November or December

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Election Commission said the voters list will be renewed once again. Local body elections will be held in the state in November or December. The election process will be completed before December 20.

Chief Electoral Officer Dr Rathan U Kelkar and State Election Commissioner A Shajahan held talks in connection with the elections. The chief electoral officer has written to the central election commission requesting that the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Kerala be extended until the end of the local body elections.
