Argentina's Kerala match ticket sales from Oct 15th, new rates to be announced soon

KOCHI: As per emerging reports, the ticket sales for the Argentina football match in Kochi will start from October 15th. The exhibition match between Argentina and Australia will be held at Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium, Kaloor, on November 17th. Renovation is ongoing in the Kaloor stadium, with an aim to increase the seating capacity to 60,000.

The official sponsors of the event are contemplating fixing the ticket prices. The rates for the spectators will be out in the coming days. Kerala’s sports department and the sponsors are also pondering moves to conduct a road show in Kozhikode and a fan meet event in Kochi.

It is expected that the chief minister of Kerala will officially announce the event in the coming days. Football virtuoso Lionel Messi, in his latest Facebook post, expressed excitement about his impending visit to India and confirmed that he will visit two major cities. Messi gave a hint that he would possibly visit another Indian city too, which many believe is Kerala.
