Police block NH to pave way for Kerala CM, massive traffic snarl in Thrissur

THRISSUR: Police blocked the national highway at Muringur in Thrissur to pave the way for Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Vehicles were blocked on the national highway for more than 15 minutes to prevent the Chief Minister's vehicle from getting stuck in the traffic snarl. Vehicles heading from Chalakudy to Koratty were blocked, thus creating an additional block of two kilometres. Even after the Chief Minister left, the traffic continued on the Koratty road.
