MP Shafi Parambil leaves hospital after surgery, advised rest for two days

KOZHIKODE: Shafi Parampil MP, who was injured in the clash with police in Perambra, returned home after getting discharged from the hospital. Shafi suffered injuries to one side of his head and nose in a police beating. As per the doctors, two bones in Shafi’s nose were fractured.

The left nasal bone was fractured and dislocated, and the right nasal bone was fractured. The Vadakara MP underwent surgery at a private hospital in Kozhikode. Currently, the doctors have advised him to rest. Shafi will return for further treatment in two days.

Shafi Parambil MP was beaten up during a protest demonstration related to the Perambra CKG College elections. Shafi was beaten up by the police with a lathi. Following the incident, Congress held large-scale protests in various places in the state. Clashes also broke out during the Congress march held in various districts.
