Six people fall ill after eating mushrooms in Thiruvananthapuram; three in critical condition

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Six people have been admitted to the hospital after falling ill after eating mushrooms in Amboori. All six have been admitted to the Karakonam Medical College. Mohan Kani, his wife Savithri, their son Arun, Arun's wife Suma, their children Abhijith and Anashwara- all living in Amboori settlement- are undergoing treatment at the hospital. The family had cooked and consumed the mushrooms collected from the premises of the house. According to sources, the condition of Mohan, Savithri and Arun is serious, while Abhijith is in the ICU. The condition of the other two is not serious.
