'Getting caught in random travel vlog': Anirudh Ravichander's romance rumours resurface

2025 was replete with gossip circling celebrities in India, and a major one was music director Anirudh Ravichander dating SunTV scion Kavya Maran. Earlier, Anirudh denied the rumours through social media, but gossip resurfaced after a travel vlog from a random person ended up viral.

Kavya Maran and Anirudh were spotted walking together in New York in a travel vlog posted by a UK native. The clips went viral across social media in no time. The duo was seen walking together, pretty relaxed, unlike in India, where they would have been swarmed by people. It is reported that the video was taken down by the vlogger.

This is the first time that both have been spotted together publicly. The incident has thus fueled speculation about the dating, despite Anirudh turning down the news some months back.

“Calm down, guys. Stop the rumours,” this was how Anirudh responded to the news some months back.

Kavya Maran is the daughter of Kalanithi Maran, the chairman and founder of the Sun Group. The 34-year-old is now the co-owner of IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad.
