
PATNA: As the counting of votes is progressing, the NDA is leading in Bihar. The NDA is leading in 152 seats. INDIA alliance is leading in 71 seats, and Prashant Kishor's JSP is leading in four seats. The Congress, which contested in 60 seats, has managed to lead in only seven seats. Tejashwi Yadav is leading in Raghopur. The India alliance is advancing on the strength of the RJD. RJD's Rith Lal Roy, who contested the elections from jail, is leading in Dhanapur constituency. If the NDA wins, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation this evening.

After the first round of counting, Tej Pratap Yadav, son of former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, has moved to the third position in Mahua. LJP (RV)'s Sanjay Kumar Singh is leading here. RJD leader Mukesh Kumar, who is also a sitting MLA, is in second place.
