THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actress Keerthy Suresh has reacted to her morphed images circulating on social media. She said the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on a person’s privacy is extremely worrying. Morphed pictures of the actress had recently spread widely on social media. Keerthy also shared her concerns about the misuse of technology.

The actress addressed the issue while speaking at a press conference in Chennai. She spoke openly about the emotional stress caused when someone’s photos are altered and spread in this way. "This problem does not affect celebrities alone. It can affect anyone, including ordinary people. Anyone using social media or digital platforms can become a victim," she said.

"AI has become a big problem. It is both a blessing and a curse. Humans invented technology, but now it feels like we are losing control over it,” she said.

“When I see an image of myself on social media wearing inappropriate clothes, I get shocked. Anyone seeing it would think it is real. They might even wonder why I wore something like that. Recently, a picture of me from a movie pooja was edited from another angle to make it look bad. For a moment, even I doubted myself, then I realised I never posed like that. It is definitely uncomfortable. It is painful,” Keerthy said.
