THRISSUR: A man drove the car for kilometers with the owner on top of the bonnet when asked to return the vehicle rented. Bakkar of Thiroor in Thrissur drove the vehicle fast with the owner of the car Solomon. The locals who happened to see this stopped the car and rescued him. The incident happened when an investigation was going on in connection with the police complaint filed to get back the car.

Solomon of Aluva, had rented out two cars to Bakkar. However, when the rent was not paid properly and the car was not returned, Bakkar promised to give his land in exchange. However, when the land was not given, Solomon came in search of the vehicle in Thrissur and saw one of his cars parked in Erumapetty. He told Bakkar, who was in the car, not to move forward and then lay on the bonnet, but Bakkar took the car forward and drove at high speed.

Solomon started screaming while lying on the bonnet. The locals who saw the incident informed the police. By then, he had already traveled for about ten kilometers. The Erumapetty police arrived and took Bakkar into custody.
