Tear gas shell explodes during training session; three cops injured in Kollam

KOLLAM: Some cops sustained injuries after a tear gas shell exploded during training in Karunagappally. Three cops have been admitted at a hospital in Chavara. Two women cops and a male cop have been injured. The accident happened when training was given to cops of Karunagapally sub-division.

The tear gas shell did not explode when it was used first. It exploded when it was being reloaded. Karunagappally ACP said that a detailed investigation will be conducted into what has happened.
