Car and pickup lorry collide in Koyilandy; woman dies while taking relative to hospital

KOYILANDY: A woman died after a car and a pickup lorry collided near the old Joint RT office on the national highway. The deceased has been identified as Omana (61), a native of Thavilakkutti in Punnad. She was travelling with her sister-in-law Ramani, who was being taken to the hospital for treatment, when the accident occurred.

Omana was the daughter of the late Kunhiraman Nambiar and Kalyadan Madhaviyamma of Vayalin House, Peravoor, Mattannur. Her husband is Panniyodan Sreedharan. Children: Srijesh (business, Bengaluru) and Mahima.
