'Sit only if you can carry my bag': KSRTC female conductor threatens lady passenger 

PATHANAMTHITTA: Female passenger warned that she can sit next to the conductor's seat on a KSRTC bus only if she can carry the bag of the female conductor. A passenger faced this hurtful experience from the lady conductor of the KSRTC bus that operates from Kottayam to Pathanamthitta. The conductor also threatened the passenger who objected to carrying the bag. The incident took place on a bus at Ranni depot on Wednesday morning.

A passenger went to sit in the seat next to the conductor's seat as it was vacant. The lady conductor then told the passenger that she could sit only if she could hold her bag. Since there were no other seats available, the passenger tried to pick up the conductor's bag, but it was heavy. When she asked if she could put it down, the conductor angrily said, "It's my bag, you can't put it down." The passenger was sitting in her seat with difficulty, struggling to place the conductor's heavy bag on top of her own.
The passenger had to face an uncomfortable trip till she moved to the seat behind her when the passenger who was using that seat got up.
