Helped Rahul Mamkootathil to escape; personal staff and driver added as accused

PALAKKAD: Two more people have been added as accused in the sexual harassment case involving MLA Rahul Mamkootathil. His personal staff member Fazal and driver Alvin have been named as accused. According to the police, they helped Rahul escape and took him to Bengaluru. Both have been issued notices and released.

Earlier, the special investigation team had taken them into custody for allegedly helping the MLA go into hiding. They were held for a day at the Thiruvananthapuram Commissioner’s Office before being let go.
