'Availed all benefits and backstabbed party'; CPM leader MM Mani insults voters for LDF's setback

IDUKKI: CPM senior leader MM Mani stirred a controversy while responding to the setback faced by LDF in the Local Body polls. Mani maligned the voters for not choosing CPM over other parties. Mani said people took all the benefits from the government only to backstab them during elections.

"They showed ingratitude after taking money through beneficial schemes. Developments, including roads, bridges, development and public welfare, are at an all-time high in Kerala. The people availed all the benefits and didn’t vote for us. They showed no decency," Mani responded.
