KSRTC a hit in Sabarimala; 900 buses ready for Makaravilakku, says Minister K B Ganesh Kumar

PATHANAMTHITTA: Transport Minister KB Ganesh Kumar said that Ayyappa devotees are satisfied with KSRTC's services in Sabarimala. He said this season saw fewer complaints compared to previous years. The minister said he learned about the satisfaction of devotees while speaking to them at Pamba. He also said he personally witnessed that KSRTC services were being operated efficiently. He was speaking at a review meeting held at Pamba.

The minister said that 900 buses have been arranged to operate services to Pamba in connection with the Makaravilakku festival. He added that 100 more buses would be provided if needed. Ganesh Kumar also said it was a relief that no road accidents were reported during this Sabarimala season. He added that more measures would be taken in the next season to further reduce road accidents.
