Youth falls asleep after leaving ganja out to dry, police seize 370 grams

KOZHIKODE: A youth, who had fallen asleep after leaving ganja out to dry, has been arrested. He has been identified as Muhammed Rafi of Vellayil. The incident happened at the Kozhikode beach. After putting the ganja leaves on the paper to dry, he slept on a mat nearby. Those on morning stroll at the beach saw him.

On being informed, the police arrived, but he was still fast asleep. 370 grams of ganja were seized. Police said the same person was arrested in a ganja case earlier also. Rafi told police that he dried the ganja brought from Karnataka before distributing it to various places.
