'UDF all set for landslide victory in Kerala'; Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in Ernakulam

KOCHI: Inaugurating the Mahapanchayat organised by KPCC in Ernakulam, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that Congress would repeat the terrific performance of local body polls in the upcoming assembly elections.

Rahul Gandhi:

“The victory of the UDF in the local body elections is historic, nevertheless. Gram panchayats are the foundation of democracy. It gives us pride that our victory was well documented in the panchayats. Voting is the right of every citizen. It is the necessity of Indian democracy to protect it. While the RSS and the BJP are centralising the administration, the Congress is trying for decentralisation.

The idea of ​​the RSS and the BJP is to distribute the entire wealth of the nation to a very few selected people. They can do that only if India drops its democratic status. RSS is working towards that.

UDF will win the assembly elections by a landslide. The problem of unemployment in Kerala is immense. It is painful that the youth are leaving the country due to unemployment. The Congress leaders in Kerala have a vision because they are closely connected with people.”
