One killed, three injured in collision of bikes on Palakkad national highway

PALAKKAD: An accident happened after bikes collided on the Palakkad-Kozhikode national highway. The incident happened at Vattambalam. The dead is Rafeeq (51) of 55th Mile in Nattukal. The accident happened when Rafeeq was going home from Vattambalam Hospital with his wife around 8:30 pm on Sunday. His wife Shahida (48) sustained injuries and is undergoing treatment. Two in another vehicle also sustained injuries.

Rafeeq was an employee of the Kodakkad mosque. Rafeek, who suffered serious injuries in the accident, was admitted to the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital. He died while undergoing treatment here.
