Sachin invites Modi, Rahul Gandhi to son's wedding; pictures go viral

NEW DELHI: Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has invited President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi to his son’s wedding. It was Sachin himself who shared the news through his social media accounts. He visited them along with his family to personally extend the wedding invitation.

The wedding celebrations of Sachin’s son Arjun and his fiancée Saaniya will begin on March 3. The wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place on March 5. The couple got engaged in August last year.

Last February, Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji graciously hosted us at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
